Enter to win a fat quarter bundle of Parade on Main by Samantha Walker:
Growing up, 4th of July meant filling a grocery bag with candy from the local parade, working on the summer tan at the nearby lake, gathering for a family bbq, smelling dirt and leather while fully engrossed in all of the actions of the rodeo and topping it all off with late night fireworks. So many memories are created over the holidays!

Love BBQ + Fireworks with Family+Friends ! Thanks so for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGrowing up it was a family day with lots of food and fun and fireworks at night. When our son got into cub scouts/boy scouts it was being in a parade and food and fun afterwards. Then he went into reenacting and the same thing. Now it is back to family and food and fun and fire works at night. quilting dash lady at comcast dot net

ReplyDeleteOur favorite 4th of July tradition is gathering family for a traditional cook out and then fireworks in our neighborhood. We have neighbors that outdo themselves each year with a spectacular fireworks show that compares to many professional shows. 6 families work hard to out do each other. However, being in Florida, the summer storms can put a damper on the festivities.
ReplyDeleteFamily potluck/barbeque, a parade, and fireworks!
ReplyDeleteI love to go to the small town parade in the town my mother is from & visit with family & friends,
